2018 Recipient ~ Cindy Ernharth

Cindy Ernharth has been in Career Services for over 25 years; she currently serves as a Career Advisor at HACC, Central PA's Community College doing both Academic and Career Advising. Cindy’s focus is on Career and Technical Careers; working mainly with displaced workers, underserved populations, and non-traditional students, especially those students in majors that tend to be one gender dominant; working hard to increase women entering non-traditional fields that are in demand with high earning potential. Cindy’s role as an academic advisor, allows her to work with students from entry, to graduation, and develop plans for life and work after graduation. Cindy has been a member for MACCA for many years. She first served as a PA Member at Large in the late 1990's. Since 2012, Cindy has been a MACCA Board member and continues to serve as the Registration Chair and assisting in outreach to the membership about all MACCA events. Testimony: “Cindy consistently and continuously works behind the scenes to fill in the gap for the many roles needed to be fulfilled in MACCA's delivery of service.” “Cindy steps up and steps in. She gives unstintingly of her time and experience throughout the year. Where members may transition on and off in areas of responsibility, Cindy has remained steadfast through each transition, rendering ideas and offering solutions.”
