Our annual conference is an opportunity for networking and professional development! MACCA invites you to share and showcase your professional expertise, research, and successful practices. Submit a program proposal for consideration incorporating the theme, "Celebrating our past. Embracing the future." The conference will be held at the Doubletree Resort in Lancaster, PA from November 8-10, 2020.

Conference Audience:

Our audience includes career development professionals and coaches from all settings including: K-12, colleges and universities, government/workforce agencies, military agencies, one-stop centers, and private practice. It also includes guidance counselors, educators, workforce development professionals, academic advisors, organizational development and human resources professionals, business professionals, and government employees.

Conference Registration:

As a thank you for serving as a speaker, concurrent sessions will receive a discount for conference registration. Conference information and online registration will be available in the coming months. Registration rates for the conference have not yet been determined, but will be announced as soon as possible, along with the discount as determined by the board. Failure to register by the deadline may result in cancellation of your program.

Program Selection Process:

The MACCA Conference Committee will review all proposals. Final decisions will be based on quality, intended audience, and relation to the conference theme. The lead presenter will be notified via email of acceptance or rejection of the proposal by the end of July 2020.

Continuing Education Credit/Clock Hours:

Presentations and sessions for which NBCC-approved clock hours will be determined by NBCC and identified in the conference program. In order to receive clock hours, presenters should be qualified by education, experience, and/or training to present/author the particular subject matter, or author the publication concerning the subject matter.  Proposals that do not have chairs or lead presenters who meet NBCC qualifications  will still be considered for approval and selection.
